Find inspiration to freshen up your wardrobe by learning some basic dressmaking techniques.
During this workshop you will learn how to make a simple skirt pattern based on your own measurements; from this pattern you will then create a stylish and useful A-line skirt from a choice of lovely fabrics. At the end of the day you will take home a beautiful new skirt and your very own ‘made to measure’ pattern to use again and again.
Some previous sewing experience is useful but there will be expert guidance on hand. All materials and equipment are provided.
Sessions are kept to a maximum of 6 people to ensure everyone can learn at their own pace. Groups and parties welcome see the Special Sessions page.
