Once you find those perfect jeans, that oh so comfy shirt or that little party dress that fits your like a glove it's hard to know what to do when they start to show signs of all those good time you've had in them..... If only only you could make a copy......
Well you can! Learn the secrets of creating a pattern from an exisitng peice of clothing and pick up some great dressmaking techniques and handy sewing tips for construction and fit along the way. On this two day course you will bring along that favourite item and without harming it at all create a pattern from it and go on to make a replica in a fabric of your choice.
What to bring:
Your chosen garment to copy (match the garment and fabric choice to your ability - if in doubt feel free to ask and we'll be happy to help)
Fabric to create replica with matching thread and zips, buttons, etc, (use original garment to guide you in your choice of fabric)
Sessions are kept to a maximum of 6 people to ensure everyone can learn at their own pace. Groups and parties welcome see the Special Sessions page.
