Dreaming of sunny days and outdoor fun for the kids? There's no better time to learn to make those wardrobe essentials like shorts, tops, dresses and jackets. Add something truly unique to their wardrobe and learn some great tricks and techniques along the way (you never know, once armed with the knowledge you may also feel inspired to transfer these skills to some adult size projects!?)
During this workshop you can choose from a range of clothes to make at your own speed during the day. Some previous sewing experience is useful but there will be expert guidance on hand and there are projects for all abilities - from the beautifully simple baggy shorts and A-line button dress, to the more challenging lined jackets and hats. All materials, equipment and patterns as well as lunch are provided. Patterns are available in a range of baby and toddler sizes.
Sessions are kept to a maximum of 6 people to ensure everyone can learn at their own pace. Groups and parties welcome see the Special Sessions page.
